This Refuse To Be A Victim® seminar is a non-firearms-related program that focuses on participants’ situational awareness of the potential risks of becoming victims of criminal activities. The seminar teaches easy-to-understand methods you can use to increase your awareness and lessen your chances of a criminal confrontation. The program provides the tools you need to develop your own personal safety strategy and raise your awareness of potential risks.

NRA Home Firearm Safety Course
Take charge of your family’s safety and get the basic knowledge and skills to safely handle or store firearms and ammunition in your home.
This training is beneficial for the gun owner and their families as well. Safety comes before all else! This four-hour course for safe gun handling is conducted in the classroom only. No gun No Shooting No Test! Students are taught NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling, primary causes of firearm accidents, firearm parts, how to unload certain action types, ammunition components, cleaning, care, safe storage of firearms and ammunition in the home, and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. Students will receive NRA Home Safety Handbook, the NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, and the NRA Home Firearm Safety Course Completion Certificate. This course meets the requirements for the Virginia Concealed Carry Permit and is taught by a NRA Certified Instructor with over 20 years experience in shooting, education, and training.
